The large Martens family from Germany, which tried to move to a Siberian village in the winter, but only stayed there for two months, was offered to settle in Stavropol. Vladimir Poluboyarenko, an assistant commissioner for human rights in the Stavropol Territory, decided to allocate his four-story house in the suburbs for the Martens.
The head of the family, Yevgeny Martens, visited Stavropol and inspected the house. “The Cossacks met me, served bread and salt on a checker according to the local custom. I am delighted with the places I saw, I am delighted with Stavropol, it is a clean and well-groomed green city,” Martens shared his impressions.
According to Martens, he liked the house offered to the family, but he has not yet made a final decision on moving.
During a visit to Stavropol, Martens once again explained why he wants to move from Germany to Russia: “The plague of juvenile justice should not take root in Russia <...> Guardianship authorities in Germany can go into the house, see that there is no yogurt in the refrigerator, and on this reason to remove the child from the family!”
Martens also complained about sex education classes in German schools. According to him, two of his daughters were forced to attend such lessons, one of them was counted as absenteeism, and he and his wife were fined.
“In Germany, there are cases when schoolchildren return home and ask their mothers:“ What kind of sex does dad prefer, oral or anal, the teachers asked us to find out at school, ”Evgeny shared.
- Yevgeny Martens moved with his wife and 10 children to Russia at the end of 2016. According to the program for the resettlement of compatriots (Martens' parents took him to Germany at the age of 14), the family was provided with a house in the village of Kyshtovka in the Novosibirsk region. The house had no running water or central heating. Martens also complained about drunk teenagers who "shouted Nazi salutes to insult them."
