Art historian Yuri Mudrov has been appointed the new director of the Museum of St. Isaac's Cathedral, the committee on culture of St. Petersburg reported.
Mudrov began work on June 15.
According to Interfax, Mudrov has been working "in the field of culture of St. Petersburg since 1982" and has held senior positions in a number of museums.
