Russian President Vladimir Putin called the media materials about representatives of the authorities "information stuffing". He said this during a direct line with the president, the broadcast of which is conducted by Republic.
“I see them. I am always attentive and with respect. But a person who occupies my place should double -check all this and draw conclusions based on objective data. The media and the Internet are used for fakes, stuffing, political struggle. Well, what to do. This is life, ”he said.
He did not specify what kind of “stuff” we are talking about and did not name a single surname. State bodies are checked by such materials: the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB, he added.
The last loud investigation in the media was the material of the Fund for the fight against corruption about the "secret empire" of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. According to the fund, Medvedev has “secret assets”, which he allegedly acquired “for bribes of oligarchs and loans of state banks” using a “criminal scheme” based on non -profit funds.
