The turnout amounted to 71 percent, and in 118 houses exceeded 90 percent. 4087 houses voted for demolition, while absolutely all residents participated in the 21st house in the vote. In seven houses, the vote did not take place.
At the same time, the main factor that influenced the decision of the inhabitants was the constructive characteristics of buildings. 84 percent of houses in which residents spoke out against relocation - brick. This is the fifth of the brick houses that have fallen on the list. The oldest house, who left the renovation program, was built in 1906 in the Krasnoselsky district. In two areas, more than half of the inhabitants spoke out against demolition - 55 percent in Moskvorech -Saburov and 51 in Izmailovo.
The voting results were not affected by the proximity to metro stations, nor political preferences of the inhabitants. In 37 out of 91 districts, residents of all houses who were on the list voted for demolition. Most of the houses, 272, will be demolished in Kuzminki.
On Wednesday, the State Duma adopted a bill on the renovation of Moscow housing in the third, final reading. The demolition program will include only the houses of "the first period of industrial housing construction" and similar in design. The law classifies buildings built according to standard projects of 1957-1968 using typical walls of walls and ceilings. Renovation will not be applied to emergency houses, they will continue to be demolished in accordance with existing legislation.
On Wednesday of Moscow, 14 people were detained by the State Duma building in single pickets against the adoption of the Renovation Law in the third reading, including the chairman of the Moscow branch of the Yabloko party.

144 amendments were introduced to the second reading, 120 were approved of them. However, opponents of renovation believe that no amendments would eliminate the fundamental defects of the bill, which provides for the removal of private property.
