In Germany, the former Chancellor of Germany Helmut Kol died. This was reported by newspapers Bild and Süddeutsche Zeitung .

Kolya was 87 years old. According to Bild, he died at home.

Information about the death of the politician was confirmed by the Christian Democratic Union, which was headed by 25 years.

According to Der Spiegel, the problems of Helmouth Kolya with health have been known for a long time. In 2008, Kohl received a traumatic brain injury, after which he could not fully recover. In recent years, the politician almost could not speak and in public appeared extremely rarely, always in a wheelchair.
