1720 detentions. Such a week. Issue number 7

This week, at least 1720 people were detained on protest against corruption on June 12, and now they are waiting for all of them.

Here is our detailed and still replenished report about the number of detainees in different cities of Russia. In Moscow, we know about 866 detainees who were disposed of in 41 Moscow police department. At least 32 people spent the night in 11 departments. In St. Petersburg, according to preliminary data from the OTD-Info , at least 658 people (34 departments) were detained, and 247 were left in the police at night.

The police acted rudely and harshly: the detainees were beaten, they mocked the ATS above them and placed in inhuman conditions. In Moscow, activist Julia Galyamin and her husband were beaten , she is in the hospital. According to the united group of public surveillance, police officers beat people with their heads about auto -zak and clubs in their legs. It can be seen how the policeman deliberately strikes the head of the already lying detainee. In St. Petersburg, in the 15th department, the detainee was divided into panties, and in the 24th department they beat (and one detainee was placed in a damp and cold basement). In the Moscow Alekseevsky police department, three people spent the night just on the street - in the department itself there was not enough space for them. This is only a short list of such violations. In the near future we will publish a detailed summary.

After the rally, the Investigative Committee started two criminal cases against adolescents. In Moscow, a 17-year-old schoolboy is accused of applying violence to a police officer (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, he sprayed the gas spray during the rally, the police officer received a chemical burn of the eye. On June 14, in St. Petersburg, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism detained a schoolboy. He is accused of allegedly attacked a police officer, hitting him with a fist. However, one of the video from the rally shows that the teenager most likely just fell on a police officer.

In St. Petersburg, demonstrators are illegally judged throughout the city, and not in court of the area where they were detained. On the morning of June 13, riot police blocked the entrance to the Dzerzhinsky court, where meetings were held on the detainees. The human rights activist Dinar Idrisov, who defended the activists, was detained twice by the court and arrested for 14 days, and during the action itself in the autozaca were members of the Human Rights Council.

At least 350 ships have already passed in St. Petersburg. More than 100 people were sentenced to arrests from one to 15 days, the rest received fines from 3 to 15 thousand rubles. In Moscow, everything is softer - so far we know about 11 arrests (though up to 30 days - for a month, Alexei Navalny was sent to the special receiver), and the main stream of court hearings ahead.
