Talk about the response actions to the possible new sanctions of the United States against Russia prematurely, but they will complicate the relations of the two countries in case of adoption. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the Vesti on Saturday on the Channel One, Interfax reports .

"We need to see how all this will happen, so now it is premature to talk about our response actions. It is only important to note that whatever happens, you still need to see, ultimately, what it will result in - but whatever the decisions are made by the ocean, this will not put us into a dead end," Putin said Putin

“Something will probably have to adjust something, we will have to do something additionally, pay additional attention to something, but this will not lead to a dead end and collapse. But this will, of course, complicate Russian-American relations. I think this is harmful,” the president noted.

On Wednesday, the US Senate with an overwhelming majority vote approved the bill on the introduction of new sanctions against Russia for interference in the 2016 American presidential campaign. The same document obliges the president of the country to coordinate any softening of sanctions with Congress.

Now the document should be approved by the House of Representatives, and then go to the president of Donald Trump for signature. Supporters of the adoption of the document expect that if Trump puts a veto on him, there are enough votes in Congress to overcome this veto.
