“Be tomorrow with your country and your people,” so on the eve of the action, the founder of the Corruption Fund Alexei Navalny urged the Russians to leave the house “for a peaceful walk along the street in good weather”. By 15:00, the police began to harshly detain protesters, primarily those who shouted slogans and carried Russian flags. The press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs counted about 150 violators of public order detained in Moscow, Interfax reports. According to the OVD-Info, in addition to Navalny, 866 people were detained in Moscow, which were delivered to 42 Moscow police department. Three - on Sakharov Avenue, where the action was allowed, the rest on Tverskaya. Among the detainees, the Coordinator of Open Russia Maria Baronova, photographer Georgy Malet, one of the founders of the War art group and the Mediazone publisher Pyotr Verzilov, publicist Alexei Tsvetkov, journalist Denis Styazhkin, actor Alexander Palin and politician Ilya Yashin, who received 15 days of administrative arrest the next day. At least 32 people spent the night in the police department, and the next day 2 criminal cases were instituted: a man who allegedly blew a firecracker during an unauthorized rally against corruption, and a person who supposedly sprayed the gas in the face of a riot police officer on Pushkinskaya Square. The Mediazona publication claims that he can be a minor.

Another criminal case was instituted in St. Petersburg, where the unknown hit the policeman in the face. The identity of the suspect has not yet been established.
