A member of the Russian National Guard reported a crime committed against him

Russian Guard fighter Yuri Posazhennikov turned to the police with a statement that during an anti-corruption rally on June 12 in Moscow near the building of the Izvestia newspaper, an unknown person hit him on the back, from which Posazhennikov fell to the ground and injured his arm. This was reported by Open Russia, citing a law enforcement source.

The same person is suspected of committing a crime, against whom a criminal case has been initiated under Art. 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism) for throwing firecrackers into a crowd of people on Tverskaya on the same day. The suspect is under house arrest.

According to OVD-Info, 1,720 people were detained throughout Russia on June 12, including 196 people in the regions (excluding Moscow and St. Petersburg).

In Moscow, 866 detainees are known, who were taken to 42 Moscow police departments. At least 32 people spent the night in 11 police stations.
