Voice of protest: Russia

The focus of public attention when discussing shares on June 12 focused on the capitals. In Moscow and St. Petersburg- the most massive promotions, most detained, in the end- just more spectacular pictures for photo and telecorrorepissens. Especially in Moscow, where riot police, dressed in armor, drove peaceful protesters on the participants of the reconstructure festival - and they were also in armor.

But in the regions, in order to reach the protest, it requires much more courage. In small regional, and even more so, district centers, most often there are no free media or human rights organizations ready to provide legal support in the event of detentions, and local authorities act without looking at the law. Nevertheless, people take to the streets. Tambov, Tula, Sochi - these cities (and dozens of 145 more participating in the action) do not remember mass protests, it seems, since the time of perestroika.

But the situation is changing, but fear leaves.

In Tambov on June 12, 7 people were detained, in Tula-24, in Sochi-48 (the resort became a city-commander for detentions, it is in third place after Moscow and St. Petersburg).

Some NT interlocutors agreed to talk only anonymously, and not everyone is ready to provide photos for publication. But everyone can clearly explain why they, risking to be in the police department, took to the streets of their cities.

Tambov

I went to the action, because I pursue the same goals as the FBK: I am not satisfied with the struggle against corruption that the state supposedly leads compared to the one that FBK is conducting. Moreover, in such a city as Tambov, as far as I know, there were no detentions ( in Tambov, according to the OVD-Info, 7 people were detained. -NT). But if I had encountered this problem, I would have turned it in my direction: the rally was agreed, I did not commit unlawful actions, like all its participants. Therefore, there was no reason to detain - in this case, law enforcement officers would violate him themselves, for what would be punished. But I like the policy of democratizing society, again, the work of the FBK and the thoughts of the development of the state as a whole, which are represented. You can say, so to speak, I judge not precisely him, but his thoughts, words and actions.? I think that he is able to improve life in the country.?

It seems to me that it is more correct to talk not about the future of Russia, but about the future of people living in Russia. I see them democratic, working, purposeful. And this, for sure, is not so now. Rather, this is about what this state and its citizens I want to see.?

I am not afraid to take part in such shares, because I, together with the rest of the people, try to fight corruption and get answers to the video ( I mean the FBK film-investigation "He is not a dimon." -NT). And it doesn’t matter whether the rally agreed or not. If Navalny is allowed to the elections and elect him, then I think that everything will go better than now. And if no one else rises to this place, then nothing will change.

I perfectly passed the state, and my friend and I decided to go to Sochi for a week. It just so happened that it was that week that we had to be there that this event passed.? It was not a rally, but a peaceful procession without posters and slogans. There was a great sunny day, I had a wonderful mood for a walk. I only managed to come up, take a few pictures, and we were detained. In any case, the actions of the police were illegal. We were detained by decree that does not apply to us, as, in fact, the article itself. It was foolish to think that everything would go peacefully in the Kuban, there is another contingent. In Tyumen differently. If I were in Tyumen, then, going to the action, I would feel a sense of patriotism, but I really just walked in Sochi. We were going to look at the action, buy strawberries and go to the beach. In Russia, I see the absence of meaningless military campaigns, and, for starters, the minimum wage, decently exceeding the cost of living. ??

I was on stocks, I was detained, but almost immediately released. But I am not afraid to go outside, I am driven by the desire to somehow change the situation. Moreover, I believe that in my country I should not be afraid to express my own opinion. I went to the action because I am against corruption: in Russia it has reached a huge scale.? The future of Russia greatly depends on who will be in power. I am more positive about Navalny, but it will be difficult for him to win in the elections. Moreover, it is unlikely to be allowed to be allowed.

I went to Mitng because I hate corruption and is dissatisfied with the socio-economic situation in the country. I do not like the fact that the federal government is trying to limit legal, guaranteed by the Constitution, rights and freedoms, and the regional power completely violates them.

My personal goal was to consolidate with the part of the society that is tuned to protest. For me, this is fundamentally important.

I participated in a rally on March 26 in Makhachkala - I was then detained, and on June 12 I was detained before the rally began. They released on the same day 9 pm, as I turned out to be the only minor among the detainees. By the way, all of them were, as it seemed to me, passionate personality, ideological.
