On June 19, the Moscow City Court upheld the decision of the Meshchansky District Court on administrative punishment in the form of ten days of arrest under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful demand of a police officer) to Roman Rubanov, director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation. This was announced on Twitter by the head of the legal department of FBK Ivan Zhdanov.
Rubanov was detained on June 12 on Sakharov Avenue during an agreed rally. According to the police, when lawyer Violetta Volkova decided to speak from the stage of the rally, Rubanov tried to stop her and turned off the microphone. At the same time, the protocol on administrative violations against Rubanov was corrected right in the corridor of the court.
