The decision to administratively arrest human rights activist Dinar Idrisov is upheld

The St. Petersburg City Court upheld the decision in the administrative case of human rights activist Dinar Idrisov. Konstantin Ershov wrote about this on Facebook.

The court hearing lasted about 4 hours. At the same time, Idrisov has been on a dry hunger strike for the fourth day, protesting against, in his opinion, the unlawful decision of the Dzerzhinsky District Court, which sent him under arrest for 14 days, allegedly for petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code).

On June 13, Idrisov came to the Dzerzhinsky court to provide legal assistance to those detained at the June 12 rally in St. Petersburg. In court, a report was drawn up against him, first under Art. 17.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the order of a judge or bailiff) and was released.

After the report was drawn up, Idrisov was released from the courthouse and someone from there threw a bottle at him. He waved his hand, causing the bottle to fly back towards the building. The police ran out, shouting that Idrisov had escaped, and tried to push him back into the building. People on the street began chanting “Shame!”, demanding the defender’s release. Then the police called riot police for help and all together pushed Idrisov inside. There, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the human rights activist under Art. 20.1.
