Judge Nonna Bugakova of the Polevskoy City Court (Sverdlovsk Region) overturned the decision of the territorial commission on juvenile affairs to fine 10,000 rubles for the mother of Sofya Murzina, who was detained during an anti-corruption rally on March 26. It is reported Ura.ru.
Murzina was found guilty of an administrative offense under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - violation by a participant in a public event of the established procedure for holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, march or picket.
Judge Bugakova returned the material of the case to the commission for a new consideration for a more thorough examination.
“Of the violations, it can be said that the prosecutor did not take part in the commission. The moment that the girl is underage was not taken into account - the legal representative was not interrogated. The material condition of the family was not taken into account. But mother Sophia has three dependent children, the financial condition of the family is difficult, ”said Elena Makarova, Murzina’s lawyer.
According to the defense, Sophia did not participate in the rally, but held a solo picket.
