The deputy chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Akhtem Chiygoz on Tuesday during the day, during the break of the court session in his case, was taken from the Simferopol SIZO-1 to Bakhchisarai so that he said goodbye to his dying mother Alia Chiygoz. This was announced on his FB page by the lawyer of the politicalese Nikolai Polozov.
As the journalist Anton Naumluk specified , the meeting lasted 10 minutes. Then Chiygoz was returned to a pre -trial detention center; It took Police for about 20 minutes to take medicines and recover.
After this, the meeting continued (the deputy chairman of the Mejlis is involved in the proceedings on the video from the insulator). Chiigoz thanked everyone who helped to arrange a meeting.
All the time of the absence of the defendant, Naumluk added on Twitter, a member of the Council of the annexed Crimea Olga Kovitidi, called to the meeting as a witness of defense, expected in the Russian Supreme Court of the region when its interrogation began.
The organization of the meeting took almost two weeks. For the first time, Polozov filed a corresponding petition at the hearing on June 7. The lawyer explained that Alia Chiygoz after the arrest of her son fell ill with an incurable disease. For some time, relatives hid it from the political prisoner, but in recent days the prognosis of the disease has become known, which, according to the lawyer, is "extremely disappointing." At the same time, Polozov added, Alia Chiygoz herself is no longer able to come to his son in a pre -trial detention center.
However, the prosecutor Anastasia Supryag opposed the petition. The collegium consisting of Viktor Zinkov (chairman), Alexei Kozyrev and Igor Kryuchkova took the side of the prosecutor.
In connection with a violation of the rights of his client Polozov, Tatyana Moskalkova turned to the Russian Ombudsman. He also announced his intention to appeal to the Constitutional Court of Russia.
On June 15, Polozov repeatedly petitioned the court to organize a meeting and again received a refusal. The lawyer called on the Ukrainian authorities and non -governmental organizations to respond.
On the same day, the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, Maryana Bets, demanded that the occupying authorities of Crimea agree on a meeting.
On the 16th of the parents, Chiygoz was visited by another deputy chairman of the Mejlis - Ilmi Umarov, who himself was in court in the case of separatism. Aisha Umarova, the daughter of politics, published a brief story about visit on Facebook. He scored more than 20 thousand views.
On Monday, Polozov said that on behalf of Moskalkova, the Ombudsman of the annexed Crimea Lyudmila Lubin called him and proposed to bring Alia Chiygoz on a date to her son in a pre -trial detention center. An official of the Russian Foreign Ministry turned to the patient himself with the same proposal to the patient.
“This decision is the same unprincipled, the same blasphemous and inhumane,” the lawyer remarked. “These people do not understand that the mother of Akhtem Chiygoz is currently not able to get out of bed. Any transportation can essentially kill her.”
As transmitted by Crimea. Realities, the lawyer re -addressed Moskalkova, as well as to the chairman of the Russian HRC Mikhail Fedotov. He also sent appeals to the Office of the Supreme Commissar of the UN Human Rights, to the OSCE and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The meeting organized on Tuesday was a surprise for Polov. Naumluk reported that the political prisoner was taken to Bakhchisarai "secretly".
Before lunch on Tuesday, at the 131st meeting of the process, another member of the Council of Council of Crimea was questioned in court, another member of the captured region. He said that he did not know anything about organizing the Crimean Tatars of the criminal plan before the rally on February 26, 2014 at the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea, nor about the actions of the defendant himself during this rally.
Tsekov also said that the resignation of the Prime Minister of Crimea Anatoly Mogilev and the appointment of Sergey Aksenov in his place on February 27, 2014 were coordinated by deputies of the regional parliament with a fugitive ex-president Viktor Yanukovych. The witness added that he personally saw the corresponding document.
On February 26, 2014, the protests of the Maidanovites, mainly of the Crimean Tatars, disrupted the vote planned in the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea on the appointment of an illegal separatist referendum. A year later, the occupation authorities began to factory the case of "riots." The occasion was the clashes between the supporters of the Euromaidan and the participants in the rally of pro -Russian forces, at the same time passed by the parliament. According to the Russian prosecutor's office of the peninsula, during these clashes, "two people died, 79 bodily harm of varying severity were caused."
Chiygoz became the first arrested in the case. Part 1 of Article 212 of the Russian Criminal Code (organization of mass riots), which provides for 8 to 15 years of the colony, was imputed to him. Politsyk categorically denies guilt.
In addition to Chiygoz, there were seven more defendants in the case: Escender Kantemirov, Eskender Emirvaliev, Yunusov, Ali Asanov, Eskender Nebiev, Mustafa Degermendi and Arsen Yunusov. He was charged with part 2 of Article 212 of the Code (participation in the riots), which provides for a period of 3 to 8 years.
Nebiev and Yunusov melt the deal with the prosecutor’s office, and their materials were allocated in separate production. At different times at the end of 2015, both received conditional terms.
The main “case of February 26” began to be considered in the Supreme Court of Crimea in December 2015, but a month and a half later, in February 2016, he was returned to the prosecutor's office.
Last summer, after repeated admission to the court, the case was divided - the materials in relation to Chiygoz were allocated into separate proceedings. The hearing in the case of the deputy chairman of the Mejlis has been continuing since August 2016. In recent weeks, the Judicial Board interrogates witnesses of defense.
The hearing in the case of the other five defendants go from the fall in the Central District Court of Simferopol under the control of Russia; The process is conducted by judge Sergey Demenok. In early April, the last two accused, who until that moment held in the pre -trial detention center - Asanov and Degermendzhi - were transferred to house arrest.
In March 2017, Chiygoz filed a petition to restore the deadlines for sentences to Nebiev and Talyat Yunusov. The Politzek pointed out that the cases of these defendants were considered without the participation of both himself and his lawyers, and he got acquainted with the sentences only on February 27, more than a year after the adoption. At the same time, in the sentences of Nebiev and Talyata Yunusov, a number of facts that directly affect the chiigosis were indicated as the court established by the court, and since the cases were considered in a special order, these facts were not proven in the processes.
On May 21, a decision was made to appeal to the verdict to Talyata Yunusov. The collegium of the Supreme Court of the annexed Crimea (Judge -Rosom -Pali Judge Pali) excluded from the text a indication of Chiygoz as the organizer of "riots".
A few days earlier, on May 15, the chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov announced his readiness to arrive in the annexed Crimea to testify in the case of Chiygoz. Although at least two criminal cases have been opened against Chubarov in Crimea, part 4 of Article 456 of the Russian Code of Criminal Procedure (calling a witness from the Russian Federation) guarantees immunity to such witnesses from attracting as an accused and from imprisonment.
However, on May 23, Zinkov, Kozyrev and Kryuchkov refused to call Chubarov in court.
