
The US Department of Finance tightened sanctions against individuals and legal entities of Russia and Ukraine.
The department’s website posts a new “black list”, which, in particular, includes the Russian private military company Wagner and its alleged head Dmitry Utkin, Catering company Concord, Evgenia Prigozhin, who is called the Putin’s cook, a bike center and the Volk security company Alexander Zaldostanov, known under the nickname, known under the nickname Surgeon, representative of the President of Russia for relations with organizations of compatriots, Alexander Babakov and a number of people from his inner circle (Babakov owned a hotel in Kyiv, near which ex-deputy of the State Duma Denis Voronenkov was killed in March).
Several banks working in the Crimea annexed by Russia, the Prosecutor General and the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Crimea, the self -proclaimed DPR and LPR and several separatists operating in eastern Ukraine, also fell under the sanctions.
