A boat with five teenagers rolled up in Karelia

In the Sortavalsky district of Karelia, a boat with five teenagers aged 16-18 years turned upside down. This was reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in the republic.

Two teenagers managed to escape, rescuers are looking for the rest. As the head of the administration of the Impalakhansky rural settlement Zhanna Shatrez told the Republic of Administration, four young men and one girl were in the boat. They went fishing, a storm began, because of which the boat turned over.

She was found guilty of part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence, resulting in the death of two or more persons) and sentenced to three years in a colony-settlement.
