TEFI-2017 presented to autumn

The ceremony of presenting the Russian National Television Award TEFI-2017 has been postponed from the end of June to October 3.

According to Interfax with reference to the representative of the press service of the Committee of Industrial Telepremies Natalya Uvarov, the reason was the failure in the voting system.

According to Uvarova, he occurred due to the fact that this year a new voting system was introduced, in which the jury members had to choose three finalists, and not one.

“The number of jury members this year was also halved, from 140 to 70, and some of them, without understanding the new system, voted in the old way,” said Uvarova.

Thus, she added, the vote was carried out incorrectly, and now it will have to be carried out first, which will take extra time.
