2 thousand unauthorized buildings will be demolished in the Krasnodar region

The Kuban authorities decided to begin the fight against squatters. On behalf of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, about 2 thousand illegally erected buildings will be demolished in the region.

The largest number of illegally erected buildings in the region is located in Sochi: 1 thousand 116 apartment buildings, hotels and commercial properties. The head of the region demanded to strengthen control and, if necessary, to stop construction at the foundation pit stage.

“There are always specific people behind an unauthorized building. Therefore, there is no arbitrariness here. There is tacit consent here, and clearly not free of charge. Today in the large regional team there are no people who give this tacit consent. There cannot be, I emphasize again, there cannot be any new self-construction. This is a position that, I am sure, has been formed in the region. And it is definitely correct, because it is supported by the residents of the region, ” noted Veniamin Kondratyev. “ For us, the position of the residents of the region is a priority, and each head of the municipality, if, God forbid, one unauthorized facility appears, he will personally tell me why and how. I don’t accept any explanations, they are not needed.”

At the meeting, Kondratyev also asked Krasnodar Mayor Evgeny Pervyshov to speed up the construction of schools on the Lenin farm and in the Kubansky district, Kuban 24 reports.
