The judge of the Simonovsky District Court of Moscow Dina Shalagin appointed Leonid Volkov, the head of the election campaign Alexei Navalny, a punishment of five days of administrative arrest, Interfax reports . It was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organization or a public event without submitting a notification in the prescribed manner about its conduct) in connection with the YouTube broadcast of the action on June 12.

The court refused to cause defense witnesses. “The video recording, of course, is also refusing to watch. That is, I organized the event, but how exactly - the court is not interested,” Volkov noted . “The novelty is that now the“ rally organizer ”is appointed by simply writing in the protocol:“ Organizer ”.

In the afternoon, Volkov on the agenda came to the Danilovsky police department. There he was a protocol that on June 12, he "using the Internet resource" of Youtube organized "a public event inconsistent with the executive authorities." Volkov was detained and brought to court.

During the campaign on March 26, Volkov and other employees of the Corruption Fund were detained in the organization’s office during broadcasting. The next day, the Simonovsky district court arrested Volkov for 10 days under part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to comply with the requirements of the police officer). The court also appointed arrests or fines and colleagues of Volkov, detained with him.

On the eve of the action on June 12, the initiator of the protests, the leader of the progress party, Alexei Navalny, announced the cancellation of the agreed event on Sakharov Avenue due to pressure and obstacles from the authorities. He called on his supporters to hold an action on Tverskaya Street. On the morning of Monday, Navalny was detained when leaving the house. On the night of June 12, the judge of the Simonovsky district court of the capital Anastasia Loskutova arrested Navalny for 30 days in accordance with Article 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (re -violation of the procedure for public events).

On June 16, the Moscow City Court reduced the period of administrative arrest of Navalny to 25 days . The judge said that there is no reason to cancel the decision on the arrest, but "a claim to the deadline deserves attention." According to her, in the first instance they did not take into account Navalny's two children. In addition, the judge referred to the policy of the doctor’s certificate.

On June 13, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow arrested for 10 days the director of the Corruption Fund Roman Rubanov under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Rubanov was one of the applicants of the rally on Sakharov Avenue and came to the place of the canceled action in order to fulfill the obligations of the organizer. According to the police, when Violett Volkov’s lawyer decided to speak from the stage, Rubanov tried to prevent her and turned off the microphone. In addition, the activist was accused of allegedly interfering with people to the rally.

On June 12, in Moscow , 866 protesters were detained at the Anti-Corruption Promotion according to the OVD-Info. At the same time, the police reported 150 detentions. More than 30 people were left for the night in the police.
