Two residents of St. Petersburg, who served administrative arrest for participating in the June 12 action on the Field of Mars, were detained near the building of the Primorsky District Court, where they came to file an appeal. One of the detainees, Viktor K., told Mediazona about this.
Having served 5 days of arrest, Viktor K. came to the special detention center on Zakharyevskaya Street to meet his friend Maxim B., who had served 10 days. From there they went together to the Primorsky Court to file appeals against decisions on their protocols.
“We arrived, got out of the car, a police minibus immediately drove up to us, and a whole squad got out: warrant officers, senior lieutenants, a captain and, apparently, an investigator in civilian clothes. They asked for documents to be checked, then they offered to go to the police department to identify any offenses in which we could participate during the Confederations Cup,” explained Victor K.
At the department, the police drew up a report against him for allegedly swearing in public, waving his arms, and disturbing passers-by. In Victor K.’s own words, “this is a lie.”
The young man assumes that the detention is connected with filing a complaint against the arrest decision - today is the last day on which they can be filed. Currently, he and Maxim B. remain in the department.
