The court arrested the property of the ex-head of Udmurtia and his daughter

The Basmanny Court of Moscow on Thursday arrested the property of the former head of Udmurtia Alexander Solovyov, who is accused of receiving a major bribe. It is reported by "Interfax." The arrest was imposed on the apartment and the house of the official himself, as well as for seven apartments and two sites owned by his daughter.

Alexander Soloviev was detained and arrested on April 4. On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed him in connection with the loss of confidence.

According to investigators, Soloviev from 2014 to 2016 received almost 140 million rubles from organizations that built bridges over the Kama and Bui rivers. In return, the head of the republic ensured payment of work from the federal and regional budgets.
