The computer systems of the British Parliament on June 23 were subjected to a cyberattack. According to The Guardian, attackers tried to access the emails of parliamentarians and their aides, trying to find accounts with the simplest passwords.
Whether the attackers managed to gain access to someone's account is not reported.
After the attack, network administrators banned access to accounts from outside the building, which is why some parliamentarians complained that they could not access the mail.
