The coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Khabarovsk was sentenced to compulsory labor for violations at the June 12 rally

The court sentenced the coordinator of the headquarters of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Alexei Vorsin, to 120 hours of compulsory labor, reports . Khabarov.today

Vorsin was accused under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated commission of an administrative offense). He himself insisted that he was not the applicant and the organizer of the rally-procession on June 12. Vorsin told the publication that he does not intend to comply with the court's decision.

“Another idiotic sentence. The judge considered me the organizer of the rally because I “spoke at it.” The entire evidence base is based on the testimony of two Gavriks from the mayor's office and two other unknown Gavriks. The result is 120 hours of compulsory work. We will, of course, appeal it, but what do I have to say: I’m still not going to carry out this stupid sentence, I don’t agree with it, let them replace it with arrest,” he said.

On June 22, the court made a decision against two activists from Navalny’s headquarters, who were reported for trampling lawns at the June 12 protest. Mikhail Besedin was sentenced to 10 days of arrest, and Ilya Ermolaev was sentenced to 120 hours of community service. They were found guilty under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated commission of an administrative offence). The page of Navalny's supporters in Khabarovsk says that they were the organizers of the action.

Ermolaev, Besedin and another activist Sergei Primakov were accused of trampling lawns, disturbing passersby and violating traffic rules. It is not reported whether a decision has been made regarding Primakov.

On June 9, Vorsin was fined 150 thousand rubles for repeated violation of holding a rally, despite the fact that he was not the organizer of the rally and did not apply to hold it. In the community “Team Navalny | Khabarovsk” says that “they found fault with the post that Vorsin wrote on his VKontakte page on May 29,” the day when activists applied to hold a rally.
