Roscosmos changed the head of the Khrunichev Center

In the center of the name Khrunichev, the leadership was replaced. The head of the center Andrei Kalinovsky goes to work in Roscosmos, the state corporation was informed on Tuesday.

"Andrei Kalinovsky, who led the Khrunichev center since August 2014, has been going to work in the Roskosmos State Corporation for the post of executive director for quality and reliability," the Roscosmos report said.

The head of Roscosmos Igor Komarov appointed the acting general director of the Khrunichev Center, Alexei Varochko, who previously held the post of deputy general director of the Center for Operation of ground -based space infrastructure, director and chief designer of the Motor KB, the corporation said.

The fact that the new general director of the Khrunichev Center will be Alexei Varochko, the day before the source of Interfax in the missile and space industry.

Aleksey Varochko in 1982 graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute with a degree in Electrical equipment of aircraft, in 1987 - the Moscow Road Institute with a degree in Automobile Electronics.

The Khrunichev Center is engaged in the production of Proton launch vehicles and accelerated blocks to them.
