Inna and Tatyana are only two of them for the entire millionth Volgograd. They work in the Karitas patronage service, help families in which there are lying patients. And also take care of those who have no close and their own home at all
Help Karitas in Siberia helpThe dormitory of the "Polytechnic" is located in the center of Volgograd. Near Mamaev Kurgan, large shopping centers. If you drive a couple of stops, you can get to the beautiful embankment, famous for the alley of heroes with eternal flame. But walks around the beloved city for Tatyana Dontsova are now unattainable. For several years now, young (she will only turn 40 in July) and still a beautiful woman spends about 15 square meters in a room with an area of about 15 square meters. She has multiple sclerosis. This year, Tatyana on the street was only once - it was necessary to re -register a bank card, which was transferred to a disability pension.
Now she lives on the second floor. Before that, I lived on the fourth. And after long appeals to various instances, she ensured that she was allocated lower than her. True, there was no housing on the ground floor. At least the second ... True, it is not possible to go down and from here. The wheelchair does not go to the elevator, and the stair marches are not adapted to placing the ramp (as the official bodies met the written requirements of Dontsova to establish it). A woman can be on the street only with the help of volunteers who literally take her out in her arms.
“I am a recluse. I can't go anywhere. I don’t even have a balcony, I can’t even breathe fresh air. And I want to live like everyone else. When they take me out into the street - my head is spinning, my eyes blinded ... "
The doctors made a terrible diagnosis Tatyana in 2006. For 10 years, the disease has progressed so that now Tanya could only speak and blink.
“First, I turned to one famous private clinic. I was treated with numbness of my legs - warming, massage. In general, to all that is contraindicated with multiple sclerosis. I gave a lot of money. And only a year later, in a regular clinic, I was made the correct diagnosis. But time was missed ... "
Tanya is crying. She sits on the couch in pillows, keeps her head only with a special bandage. Nearby is the son of Seryozha. He periodically corrects his mother when she begins to fall asleep. He just went to school when Tanya fell ill. The boy became her main assistant.

Sergey shows a rope that “ties” himself to his mother’s house photo: Valery Zaitsev/Schschi for TD“We live with him together. I left my husband when Seryozha was very small. My husband beat me strongly. On the head. Because of this, I think I got sick,-tears appear in my eyes again. About his ex -husband and generally about a healthy life talks sparingly. Memories are not easy. - The last time I saw him seven years ago - I also walked on the wall. He offered to take my son from me. But I was categorically against. He could take him abroad. "
Now the nurse is looking after Tanya. She comes for four hours. In the morning it will wash, cook, feed. In the afternoon, the son returns from school. And then he takes care of his mother.
“Do you know how we sleep? In my teeth I keep the rope at one end, the second is tied to Serezhina’s hand. In which case I sort out the rope in my mouth, he feels, wakes up, gives medicine. But I try not to bother him once again. Although I sleep very badly. "
“Do you know how we sleep? I keep the rope in my teeth at one end, the second is tied to Serezhina's hand "Due to the fact that the boy had to care for his mother since childhood, guardianship authorities showed interest in the family. But, making sure that the child has a separate sleeping place, the table at which he makes lessons, and that Seryozha studies well, left alone. But custody is not the most important problem for Tatyana. They have no constant residence permit with their son. Every year she, a disabled person of the first group, has to extend registration.
“No one wants to make concessions. It is as if they do not understand how difficult it is for me. How many times I asked to make a constant residence permit, albeit without ownership of this room, which I received when I worked at the Polytechnic Institute. But they don’t hear me. Like, this is a hostel, and there cannot be a constant registration. The rules cannot be violated. ”
Other administrative rules last year deprived Tatyana's benefit for a child. The regional law came out that the recipients of such benefits can only be those who have a constant residence permit. The woman challenged a new resolution. The court lasted several months, and as a result, at the beginning of the year she was paid the due amount. But recently they again deprived of "children's". Seryozha was 16 years old. Now you need to collect certificates that he will continue training in the 10th grade. And in August, the temporary registration period expires, you will have to renew it again. And the little family will see the allowance no earlier than October.
“For the state, this is an insignificant amount. And for people like me, who live only on retirement, every penny is important. ”
Tatyana is not used to fighting a bureaucratic machine. In the piggy bank of her victories-conquered diapers (at first she was allocated only two pieces a day, and now five), a controversial mattress and many other means, which for some reason do not immediately include in an individual rehabilitation program. Now she is seeking a wheelchair and a holder for her neck. So far, Tanya has been using a gurney, which was provided to her by the Karitas patronage service. On it, she is imported into the shower, by the way, the only one in eight rooms, and bathe.
Employees of Karitas Tatyana Refieva and Inna Bublikova visit their ward once a week. They bring the necessary - diapers, a stand under the back, disposable diapers. When Tanya did not have a nurse, the girls bathed her, fed, dressed.
“Thank God, the Lord gives me such good people. And I don’t have to regret me. I need to understand. "
Sergei Alexandrovich clearly was waiting for us, preparing. Put on a yellow shirt on an elastic band and even a tie.
“I just didn’t have time to shave,” the patient of the city hospital apologized.
He got here three months ago. He was in the church on Easter, went out and stumbled. A few steps flew by. As a result, a fracture of the neck of the thigh. Sergey has nowhere to go from the hospital. In addition to the employees of Karitas, no one else visits him.

The sick leave was taken from me after the neighbor in the ward fell out of the window. He wanted to ask the builders to ask, and fell into the forests. And for some time I moved with the help of a chair until they brought walkers. ”
For the past five years, the man spent in slavery. According to him, a friend sold. He called to drink and offered to work. And then he was put into the car and taken outside the Volgograd region. In the steppe Sergey Pas Cattle.
“They beat me, beat me very much. They could not feed. Once I didn’t eat anything for five days. He began to blind. I tried to run, found and beat again. And then I got sick much. They gave four thousand rubles and put on a bus to Astrakhan. There I came to the rehabilitation center at the church. I was accepted, treated, even helped to do the operation in front of my eyes. But I wanted to go home to my brother. They gave me money for a ticket. ”
For the past five years, the man spent in slavery: a friend soldSergey did not find his brother. It turned out that he died three years ago. And he does not communicate with other relatives. There are two sons, one, like, in Rostov, the other should be in Volgograd. But contacting them did not work. About Sergey in the patronage service learned from the social worker of the hospital Alexander Volshanin.
Karitas helps me with such patients. They explained how to work with them. I needed help to restore documents, care advice and, of course, support in the form of things. We took a stroller and other rehabilitation agents, ”says Alexander.
Such as Sergey - homeless people who are unable to take care of themselves, there is nowhere to go after the hospital. In April of this year, a social hotel, where the disabled was accepted, was closed. The hospital lasted only two years, the employees of the Karitas patronage service came here, taught guests independent departure, explained how and why it was necessary to do a massage, and sincere conversations were simply carried out.
“Of course, the city needs such an institution. The homeless needs at least temporary housing, while social workers restore their documents in order to then issue them in some boarding school, ”says Inna Bublikova.
Sergei himself, despite the fact that his left leg still does not move, is ready to escape from the hospital. "There would be crutches, would go where their eyes look."
After the closure of the social hotel, perhaps the only refuge in Volgograd for the homeless disabled was the Bishop of the Council of Commerce. Vyacheslav Golovin created it six years ago. He adapted his apartment in an ordinary two -story building for almost 20 people. Two -tier beds are in the kitchen and in the only room. Here are also wheelchairs, walkers, which the patronage service gave for the needs of guests.

Pavel photo: Valery Zaitsev/Schschi for TDWhen we came, almost all the inhabitants were in place. Health does not allow them to leave the refuge for a long time. We did not find Golovin himself: Vyacheslav went to the Dubovsky district to see the new room for the shelter - a separate house on a small farm - to provide blood with a larger number of homeless disabled people.
Caritas patronage service has two wards. Pavel Glazkov is 66 years old. I ended up in a shelter after the hospital, where I got with a stroke.
“Since 93 I have been hanging out on the street - my mother died, and my father sold an apartment. I had to spend the night on the street, in the attics, in the porches. While health allowed, he worked. Cattle pass. In general, I am a driver by profession. But they deprived of his right. He did not restore. If you drink, why recover? All because of the booze happened to me ... "
The stroke was in 2015. I was driving in a minibus, just getting to work. And as he began to go out, his legs were taken away. They called an ambulance. I spent only a week in the hospital.
“I had no documents. Vyacheslav took me from the hospital to the shelter, helped restore my passport, issue a pension. Since then I have been living here. After the stroke, I had the entire left side of the body paralyzed. Lal for six months. Vyacheslav looked after. Several times a week a girl from Karitas came, showed what exercises to do to develop a hand and leg. Now the hand works, and the leg is still dragging. ”
Another ward, Yasha, says about himself that he became homeless not because of the booze, like many others, but because he “plowed”. His family broke up ten years ago. He was very ill, and his wife decided to leave him with his child. They live in Kazakhstan now. Yakov does not communicate with them or with their parents. And none of the relatives know where he is, and what happened to him two years ago.
“I was generally strong, I could once unload the wagon of thirty tons. Then he worked as a loader at a construction base in the Krasnoarmeysky district. He threw cement in KamAZ. He climbed onto the stand with a bag and slipped. He fell from a meter height, and even crushed me with a bag of cement from above. Two weeks my legs were numb, I barely moved. The pain was hellish, the owner of the base pricked me with Diclofenac. He left work, of course. But there was nowhere to live, one hard. The watchman took me to him. Then I read about the shelter on the Internet, called Vyacheslav, and he brought me here. I have been living here for a year and a half. ”
The back in the back has never passed, problems with the stomach, liver were added. Jacob does not recognize drugs, drinks only herbal infusions.

While we talked with Yasha, Inna met a new guide guest. True, he hardly spoke. The neighbors reported that the elderly man acted just two days ago. It was paralyzed after a stroke, speech was disturbed. “Take it under guardianship,” Inna said.
Under the care of Karitas, Tamara Vasilievna Vinogradova is also located. Parkinson's disease, and then also a stroke chained her to the bed. Inna and Tatyana came to her with a box of diapers. According to the IPR, a 79-year-old woman has only three pieces per day. “I save as I can,” says Tamara Vasilievna. She lives with her grandson, her daughter is far away. One is in Turkey, the second is in the region.
“They themselves are sick. I will be even healthier than them. I'm really looking forward to arriving. "
The grandson is all the time at work, the new nurse Svetlana takes care of his grandmother.
“So far, Svetlana. I say "for now", as if there is still hope to get up ... "
The nurse asked Karitas with a wheelchair to take Tamara Vasilievna for a walk. The catka is not included in the list of personal rehabilitation tools, it should be “prescribed” by the attending physician.
- I recently went out with her. Here on this. -Svetlana shows to a chip-a-piece, which is clearly not adapted for such manipulations.
- Oh, I was so ashamed! I won’t go out anymore, ”adds Tamara Vasilievna.

Tamara Vasilievna Photo: Valery Zaitsev/Schschi for TDKaritas has been working in Volgograd for eight years. There are such centers in Ishim, Omsk, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk and Marx. The significance of the patronage service is difficult to overestimate. Women, and mostly they work with the elderly and people with disabilities, help their relatives cope with the misfortune, teach how to properly care for seriously ill patients. They break stereotypes that a lying person cannot be self -sufficient and independent.
But the cartridge service "Karitas" itself needs help. The year of work of centers in all cities of Russia costs a little more than eight million rubles, and one day of work of the patronage sister - 831 rubles. The Help Foundation helps to raise money to pay the labor of Inna, Tatyana and many other patronage sisters of the Karitas service, for utility bills and transportation costs.
Even one hundred rubles, donated by you monthly, will allow Tatyana Dontsova to finally go outside, and Sergey Alexandrovich will receive medicine and find a refuge after the hospital. Hundreds of people chained to bed imprisoned in the room will know that they will not be left alone with their illness.
