The university itself was founded in 1931. Due to the appearance of a tablet from the Academy, a well-known lawyer, vice-president of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers Henry Reznik resigned. The press service of the university said that they put a tablet, implementing the current resolution of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR of 1960. It is necessary to assess the situation in accordance with the time in which it took place. In all legal universities, Roman law is studied, which involved slavery. We can say that the Romans trampled the right, because they had slaves, and for us now it is wildness. The Reznik argument of the same order-Stalin did something wrong, and therefore, on this topic, in legal universities, a taboo needs to be imposed. I do not agree with this.

I am as negative as to the memorial plate in my academy as to Stalin himself. I completely agree with Reznik: Stalin is a person who buried the right. In the military period, when a lot of people died, he did not give a damn about everyone, he arranged extrajudicial repressions. This plate shows that our leadership honors Stalin’s memory, and this is an inadequate act. My attitude to the university as a combination of teachers and the quality of our education has not changed, but I began to relate to leadership much worse. In today's Russia, which, just in case, a legal state where justice is carried out in accordance with the law, to honor the memory of such a person publicly at a university, which is the temple of legal science is wrong. This is the ideologization of the university and designation of the university policy. For me personally, this is a shame. This does not correspond to our realities and, in principle, common sense. I do not think that it is necessary to honor the memory of such people. Many say that he won the war. I am always idle Victory. Only now, it was not he who won the war, but by the Soviet people. It seems to me that if Stalin had a more adequate policy, we would have won the war faster and with less losses.

I am very negative about the fact that the sign was installed. Very many are bad about Stalin, and it was strange to put a memorial plaque from the university from the university. It seems to me that the university has a material interest related to some state contracts and public procurement. Maybe it was sponsored from the local budget? Restoring at our university signs about the performance of Joseph Stalin are a tribute to the history of our country. Both students and the university administration respect our university, we honor our history and do not believe that something needs to be deleted from it.
Yes, during the time of Stalin, complex, sometimes ambiguous decisions were made. We protect the right of each person to know the history of his country, I do not understand why we need to fight historical memory. If our students do not know that this person performed in our building, it will be a gap in their education. The performance of one of the heads of the state at that time is an important event, we need to talk about it, and we are not ashamed of it, like many other organizations. We do not perform any agitation. The plate was installed in 1949 and removed in the fifties, no one knows when specifically. Since then, it has been stored at the university. Now there is a reconstruction of the MGUA main building, and this sign is one of the elements of our architectural landscape, a tribute to memory. That petition, which was signed by almost three thousand people for removing a tablet, is good, which means that young people do not care. Everyone has the right to express his opinion, no one will pursue anyone for this. But I can’t say whether it will be removed, because the decision was made by the leadership of the university. I think this decision was balanced, and all the consequences were thought out.
