Married couple quarrel over your photos

An interactive short film about a mysterious box with Polaroids that can be taken from any user’s Instagram.

New York software developer Noah Levenson presented an interactive short film called “Weird Box,” in which any Instagram user's photos can cause a quarrel between a couple. The project was noticed by PetaPixel.

To show a short film, you must indicate the user's nickname on the WeirdBox.tv website and wait for the video to load.

According to the plot of the video, a girl finds a mysterious box in her bedroom and brings it to the kitchen to ask her boyfriend what is in it. The young man asks not to open it, but she does not listen and discovers in it Polaroids taken from the Instagram of the user whose nickname was indicated.

Justifying himself, the guy says that he admires the author of the photographs and considers him his “hero.” After this, a quarrel breaks out between the couple, which results in the girl leaving.

You cannot pre-select the images that will be shown in the short film. In addition, the program selects the same photos each time.
