All employees of the garbage dump in Balashikha, closed by order of Putin, are dismissed

The further fate of the company, as well as data on compensation for damage from the operation of the training ground, are known only to the head of the “procurer”, who does not comment on the situation, the agency’s interlocutor added.

Earlier, the Minister of Ecology of the Moscow Region Alexander Kogan estimated the environmental damage from the activities of the Kuchino TBO training ground of more than 2.2 billion rubles. The regional authorities intend to recover this money from the operator. The Ministry of Ecology reported that it has already officially presented the amount of the company's claim. However, the former press secretary of the “procurer” said that officials did not notify the enterprise about this.

The Kuchino TBO training ground in the Balashikhinsky district was urgently closed by the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov on June 23 after the President of the Russian Federation demanded this on June 22 within a month. The inhabitants of Balashikha complained to the poor living conditions near the landfill during the landfill during a direct line on June 15.

The Kuchinsky training ground received up to 600 thousand tons of garbage per year, of which up to 90% were imported from the capital.
