"At the moment, the landfill employees are looking for a job. Everyone has dismissed everyone. There is no one to operate the landfill," the agency’s interlocutor said. In total, according to him, about 150 people worked at the training ground, some of them were outsourcing.
The further fate of the company, as well as data on compensation for damage from the operation of the training ground, are known only to the head of the “procurer”, who does not comment on the situation, the agency’s interlocutor added.
Earlier, the Minister of Ecology of the Moscow Region Alexander Kogan estimated the environmental damage from the activities of the Kuchino TBO training ground of more than 2.2 billion rubles. The regional authorities intend to recover this money from the operator. The Ministry of Ecology reported that it has already officially presented the amount of the company's claim. The Kuchino TBO training ground in the Balashikhinsky district was urgently closed by the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov on June 23 after the President of the Russian Federation demanded this on June 22 within a month.
