A large review of Mercedes cars has been announced in Russia

Mercedes-Benz Rus JSC, which is the official manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz in the Russian market, conducts a review of 3408 vehicles of the German brand. This was reported on the website of Rosstandart .

Mercedes-Benz G-class cars, implemented from 2012 to today, as well as Mercedes-Benz C-class (204), sold in the period from 2013 to 2014, are subject to recall.

The reason for the review was a possible insufficient moment of tightening the bolt connection of the connecting coupling of the steering shaft. This defect can cause a greater wear of the cardan joint teeth with increased load.

The recalled Mercedes -Benz will check the bolt connection of the cardan hinge of the steering mechanism, and, if necessary, its replacement. All repair work will be carried out free of charge for owners.
