Alexei Navalny was given a warning about the possible replacement of his suspended sentence with a real one

FSIN employees today, June 29, visited Alexei Navalny, who is serving administrative arrest there, in a special detention center. Representatives of the department issued a warning to Navalny to cancel the suspended sentence in the Kirovles and Yves Rocher cases. The politician’s press secretary, Kira Yarmysh, wrote about this on her Twitter.

“Alexey had one of his civilian defenders just now, and FSIN officers literally came in front of him. Alexey told me,” Yarmysh told Mediazona, adding that there are no other details yet.

Alexei Navalny was detained on June 12 at the entrance of his house when he was about to go to a rally.

On June 13, the Simonovsky District Court arrested Navalny for 30 days, finding him guilty of repeated violation of the procedure for organizing a mass event (under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).

On June 16, the Moscow City Court reduced his arrest period from 30 to 25 days. The court allegedly took into account Navalny’s two children and a doctor’s certificate about his state of health after undergoing eye surgery.

Apparently, we are talking about the abolition of the suspended sentence in the case ofKirovles or Yves Rocher in connection with the commission of new administrative offenses. The possibility of issuing a warning to a conditionally convicted person is provided for in Article 190 of the Penal Code of Russia, which states that the criminal enforcement inspection warns the convicted person in writing about the possible revocation of the conditional sentence if he is brought to administrative responsibility.
