Investigators check the ex-head of the Main Directorate of Office of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Mikhail Maksimenko, arrested in the corruption case, to receive an elite breed puppies. It is reported by "Kommersant" with reference to its own sources.

Representatives of the defense of Colonel Maksimenko told the publication that there were no animals in their client, and refused further comments.

Maksimenko, together with the former first deputy chief of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Moscow, Major Denis Denis General Denis Nikandrov and the head of the USB of the TFR, Alexander Lamonov, is accused of receiving 500 thousand euros from a thief in the Law of Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro youth). As it turned out at a meeting of the Moscow City Court, who considered the appeal of Maksimenko and Lamonov to extend the arrest, new episodes of bribery appeared in the case.

According to the FSB, the owner of a large construction business Dmitry Symchkovsky, in advance, handed over a bribe to the colonel a used Jeep Wrangler worth 1.5 million rubles. This is qualified as receiving a bribe on an especially large scale.

In addition, Maksimenko also charges the receipt of 1 million rubles from businessman Badri Schengelia for initiating a criminal case against St. Petersburg police, who in 2014 seized his expensive Hublot watches and did not return it.

On July 19 last year, the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow arrested Maksimenko, Lamonov and Nikandrov . He was charged under part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code (receiving a bribe on an especially large scale by an organized group).

According to the FSB, Kalashov establishing contacts with the employees of the Investigative Committee took advantage of the director of the Chop, Dmitry Zvontsov, controlled by him. He was also familiar with Maksimenko in the previous service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The latter, using Lamonov as an intermediary, organized several meetings between Zvintsov and Nikandrov. According to the investigation, the parties agreed that the general for a bribe would take a group of Shakro young under his custody, solving the problems that arose among its participants.
