Let me remind you this terrible story. On March 21, Alexander Lukashenko said that dozens of militants trained in Poland, who intended to make an armed coup on March 25, were arrested throughout the country. The same evening, after the story of militants in Belarus, a criminal case was indeed opened under the article “Organization of Massion Riots”, and arrests began. 35 people were arrested, many of whom were not even familiar with each other: the head of the sports club at the Bobruisk city executive committee, a rescuer, a special forces, a bookseller, youth activists from the “front of the front”, a manufacturer of embroidery, a border guard, a publisher, a manager ... Some of them were really once in a “white legion”-a sports and patriotic association, which was engaged in a sports and patriotic association, which was engaged in a sports and patriotic association, which was engaged Organization of summer camps for youth. More than 15 years ago, the Legion ceased to exist.

The arrested were thrown from the Kagabash prison to a regular pre -trial detention center, then back. In April, most of them were charged with a second charge: to create an illegal armed formation. On TV, they talked about the prepared coup and about political emigrants who finance the training of militants and the armed coup from Poland.
The criminal case of the Belarusians was immediately called the “Patriots”, a hashtag #Patrytenykhintsy (“Patriot is not a criminal”) appeared on social networks, fundraising began to help the families of the arrested.
Rather, the BY_HELP fundraising campaign started a week earlier than the first arrests: after the February and March "marches of the angry Belarusians" against the decree on parasitism, many of their participants were awarded fines, and at first the volunteers planned to collect money for the payment of these fines.
But after a week it turned out that now the money was now needed to transfer to the pre -trial detention center, the payment of lawyers, and help families who were left without Kormils for 15 days, but for an indefinite period. The amount of donations exceeded 55 thousand dollars. No funds, no human rights organizations are just Facebook users. The experience of solidarity of Belarusians is long. When mass repressions begin, everyone rushes to the rescue and support the victims, and at the same time. When everything is in the wild, for some reason it doesn’t work out.
And then the arrested began to be released, in small batches. The latter came out on June 30. Someone was released on a recognizance not to leave, they removed the charges from someone. The fact that the criminal case of riots and an armed coup - bullshit was clear from the very beginning.
But when the guys began to leave prisons, it also became clear that the Kagabsniki did not just “pickle” them, but seriously processed all this time. Some are successful.
Sergey Palchevsky from the “front of the front” the day after the release admitted that he had only been released on the terms of signing paper on cooperation with the KGB and that he gave some testimonies agreed on the eve of the Gesbists. Sergey Kuntsevich, who managed to transfer Malyava to the will during the imprisonment with a pre -trial detention center, was soon unexpectedly released, after which he began to blame one of the leaders of Nikolai Statkevich’s protests in lies and singing Osanna to the security forces. Kuntsevich then even quoted the chairman of the KGB. Alexei Abramov, who left prison one of the last, said that “there are decent people everywhere,” that the Investigative Committee works well, that the KGB prison decent conditions (despite the fact that already many Belarusians went through the KGB prison and know what the conditions are in reality).
The Investigative Committee, by the way, appeared in the case only two weeks ago. When the KGB finished his work, some of which are already published (take at least the recognition of the same Palchevsky in cooperation), he transferred the case to the Investigative Committee: they say, we are no longer interested, now do what you want. The SK terminated the case of the riots that there were no, but accepted the case of illegal armed formation for production. On the morning of June 30, the chairman of the IC Ivan Noskevich told reporters that by the end of the day everyone would be released. There was a feeling that he himself nervously glances at his watch: Friday, you need to have time before the weekend.

This haste is explained: from July 5 to 9 in Minsk, the session of the OSCE parliamentary assembly will be held for the first time. And the "fresh" political prisoners hastened to send home. But they remain the accused, the investigation seemed to go and can extend for a long time. At this time, you can continue to “work” with under investigation with different means. Who knows what will work and when useful.
And the most unpleasant thing is that repressions become information spam. Such criminal cases - with terrible stories about the coup, dozens of arrested, documentary films about Polish camps of militants, promises to shoot everyone tomorrow and massive liberation after a few months - accustom people to the fact that repression is a common thing, like autumn slush. The same unpleasant, but not scary. On 15-day administrative arrests in Belarus, they already stopped paying attention to: what day is there when they have innocent in jail on a severe charges? Now new arrests will be perceived in the same way: probably, again, as with those from the “White Legion”, everything will end with a big zilch, you can not worry.
But worry - you need to.
