The St. Petersburg City Court rejected 288 of 310 complaints against decisions regarding those detained on June 12

The St. Petersburg City Court dismissed 288 out of 310 appeals filed against decisions on detainees at an anti-corruption rally on June 12. This is reported by "Kommersant" with reference to the joint press service of the St. Petersburg courts.

City courts considered 529 administrative cases against detainees in three days. Of the 310 people, 179 received fines, 130 received administrative arrests, and one person was sent to compulsory work.

On June 12, a rally against corruption was held in St. Petersburg, in which, according to various sources, from 3,500 to 12,000 people took part. 658 people were detained, about 247 stayed at the police departments for the night, some of them for two.

During the arrests and later, in the police departments, the police committed many violations of the law. For example, in the 33rd police department, was released pepper spray into the cells where the detainees were kept. In the 28th department, a disabled person was forced to spend the night in a cold room, from which he ended up in the hospital with pneumonia.
