Germany won the Confederations Cup

The German team won the Confederations Football Cup, defeating the Chili team in the final. The broadcast of the game was carried out on the website "Match TV".

The meeting ended with a score of 1: 0, the only ball at the 20th minute was scored by striker Lars Stindl.

Earlier in the match for third place, Portugal beat Mexico with a score of 2: 1.

The Russian team could not overcome the group stage, defeating New Zealand (2: 0), but losing to Portugal (0: 1) and Mexico (1: 2).

The Confederations Cup was held in Russia from June 17 to July 2. This is an international tournament under the auspices of FIFA, in which eight teams take part: winners of six continental championships, the current world champion, as well as the country's competing team.

The tournament is held once every four years and is considered a “rehearsal” to the football world championship, which will also be held in Russia in 2018.
