The speaker of the Chechnya Parliament Magomed Daudov (Lord) demanded 30 million rubles from the director of the regional branch of Sberbank Syd-Magomed Dzhabrailov. This was reported by "Caucasus. Realities" with reference to sources in Moscow.
It is claimed that Daudov extorted money from Dzhabrailov in the office of Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya Yakuba Kryev in the business center on the fourth floor of the Grozny-City skyscraper in the presence of the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Alaudinov region and the prosecutor of Chechnya Sharpudi Abdul-Kadyrov.
The top manager was threatened that if he refuses, they would initiate a case of "aiding for the militants."
Dzhabrailov, however, refused to give out money, went on vacation and left Chechnya. Immediately after that he was put on the federal wanted list.
On the evening of Monday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chechnya confirmed the search of Dzhabrailov. It is alleged that, on the initiative of the top manager, 12 one-day companies were created, through which more than 1 billion rubles were illegally withdrawn from the Chechen branch of Sberbank and cashed them out. The case is qualified under Part 1 of Article 172 of the Criminal Code (illegal banking), which provides for the four years of the colony.
According to RBC, the headquarters of Sberbank said that "on the fact of the information received, a verification is being carried out."
In October last year, it was reported that Daudov beat the chairman of the Supreme Court of Chechnya Tahira Murdalov , demanding from him to write a resignation statement. The speaker wanted to achieve the appointment of his man to this post. Now Murdalov is the deputy chairman of the Armed Forces of Chechnya, and is headed by the court Alawdin Gardaloev.
