2gis applied to the Mountain Altai card

In 2gis, the Altai Republic appeared. The service covers 85% of the territory of the region and works offline - to navigate on the map, build routes, find camps, cafes, refueling and attractions without the Internet.

Previously, in the reference book there was a smaller part of the republic: Gorno-Altaysk, villages south of it, including cuffs, Chemal, Wajan and Shebalino, as well as settlements east to Lake Taurus. Since July, the map of the map has been increased five times - mainly in the southern direction. In 2gis, the villages of Aktash, Kosh-Agach, Ongudai, Ulagan, Ust-Kan, Ust-Koks appeared, the company's press service reports.

“We often received requests to make 2GIS for the entire Altai mountain. There are often no Internet in tourists popular with tourists, so it was difficult to find a gas station or cafe on the road, a recreation center or a pharmacy. Now it is as easy to solve this problem as in any other city in Russia, ”said Pavel Mochalkin, director of the 2Gis Research and Development Department, and a big fan of traveling to Altai.

2GIS experts added 300 organizations working in the previously not covered area to the service, recorded routes for the navigator.

Using a 2GIS navigator, you can get to Mars-popular among tourists of mountain landscapes in the Kosh-Agach district, which resemble landscapes of the Red Planet. The Lake Giserovo, Klotinsky and Shavlinsky Lakes, the largest in the Altai Mountains Cascade waterfall, Red Gate and other attractions were applied to the map.
