Three “Crimean saboteurs” had their arrest extended for two months

Judge of the Kiev District Court of Simferopol Alexey Tikhopoy extended the arrest of three Sevastopol residents accused of preparing sabotage in Crimea for two months, until September 8, the Crimean Human Rights Group reports .

The arrest has been extended for Vladimir Dudka, Alexey Bessarabov and Dmitry Shtyblikov. The latter, presumably, entered into a pre-trial agreement; his case will be considered in a special manner.

At the same time, Shtyblikov is the only one with whom the lawyer was unable to meet by agreement. Even before meeting with the lawyer, he refused his services.

All three were detained on November 9, 2016. According to investigators, the suspects intended to carry out sabotage in Crimea; the FSB claimed that they admitted to working for Ukrainian intelligence.

They are charged with Part 1 of Article 30, paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code (preparation of sabotage as part of an organized group).

Soon, on November 21, it became known about the arrest of two more alleged members of this group - Alexey Stogniy and Gleb Shabliy.
