Detained MPRA activist in Moscow was released on an undertaking to appear

The detained activist of the interregional trade union "Workers' Association" (MPRA) Alexander Zimbovsky was released from the "Khamovniki" police department. An explanatory note was taken from him and an obligation to appear within 10 days upon a call, the activist himself told OVD-Info.

Zimbovsky was detained on the afternoon of July 4 for allegedly breaking a security guard's arm during a collective visit to the head office of Ingeokom by workers who were not paid their wages.

According to Zimbovsky, the guard wrote a statement that he was subjected to severe physical violence and his arm was broken. The activist himself and Vadim Vorontsov, a correspondent of the newspaper Rabochaya Demokratia, who was present during the visit to the office, assert that no violence was used against the security guard.
