Activists from Navalny's headquarters in Novosibirsk reported an illegal search in the building

At Alexei Navalny's election headquarters in Novosibirsk, police conducted a search without lawyers or presenting a warrant. Taiga.info writes about this.

According to the publication, signature sheets with personal data were “rummaged through,” the sink was “destroyed,” and dishes at the headquarters were used to feed police dogs. The police confiscated the circulation of propaganda leaflets.

According to Interfax, the search was also carried out without witnesses.

On the morning of July 5, the police tried to block Navalny’s Novosibirsk headquarters. Officers seized about two thousand copies of the election newspaper. A few hours later, the police announced that the building was mined.

Two headquarters volunteers were detained and released after some time. They are in the status of witnesses under Art. 207 of the Criminal Code (Knowingly false report of an act of terrorism). Another detained Navalny supporter was released without drawing up a report.
