A court in Simferopol rejected a complaint against the arrest of Deputy Head of the Mejlis Akhtem Chiygoz

The Supreme Court of Crimea did not satisfy the complaint against the arrest of the deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Akhtem Chiygoz, lawyer Nikolai Polozov wrote on Facebook.

Chiygoz has been under arrest since January 29, 2015 on charges of organizing mass riots on February 26, 2014, when Crimea was part of Ukraine. On June 22, the Crimean Supreme Court extended his arrest until October 8.
