The leadership of the Siberian Federal University decided to reserve rooms with a high level of comfort in the hostel of the Tesla Village SFU, specifically for nonresident applicants with high USE and computer science points. This was reported in the press service of the university.

The dormitory of the SFU Tesla Village was commissioned in 2017. This is a modern complex consisting of two 15-story buildings connected by a common block. Like the other 6 university complexes that were built over 10 years of the SFU, it was carried out according to a unique project. Instead of traditional corridors with rooms with an area of ​​not more than 12 square meters. meters - two -room apartments with kitchens, fully equipped with furniture.

Within walking distance are a university store, cafes, gym halls, a first -aid post (a medical center is being built), a library, living have access to a high -speed Internet.

“One of the university’s missions is the development of engineering education. SFU implements several priority educational projects aimed at improving the training of engineers. But we understand that “receiving” the creative and extraordinary specialist in the exit directly depends on how capable applicants will enter the university, ”said Maxim Rumyantsev, the vice -rector for educational work. - We have developed a system for supporting talented applicants, which includes increased multiple scholarships and other incentives. One of these measures is guaranteed accommodation in a comfortable hostel in a company with the same gifted guys. ”

An engineering reserve of 200 places will be distributed in accordance with the rating of applicants built according to the average USE score. We add that at the beginning of 2018, the university is commissioned by another complex of hostels - “feathers”, where future engineers will also be able to live.
