Roskomnadzor blocked access to the well -known Black -Hundred Site "Sputnik and Pogrom". The relevant information was published in the register of the censorship department. As of 10 in the morning, Moscow time, however, opened still freely.
The blocking was carried out at the request of the Prosecutor General, sent to the RKN on Wednesday. As the officials explained , the “satellite and the pogrom”, being the “information resource of the nationalist sense”, “promotes the ideas of national and religious growth, which forms the threats of public security” and “encourages extremism”.
At the same time, the Prosecutor General’s Office ordered the Nazi website “Russian Sector” and the website of the Russian Imperial Movement “Right Gazy”, as well as “Numerous materials that justify the activities of the“ Ukrainian “Right Sector” and Islamic groups ”.
In 2014, the Sputnik and Pogrom actively promoted Russia's aggression against Ukraine and led the fundraising for terrorists. According to the editor of the site Yegor Prosvirnin, by October 2014, 30 million rubles were raised through his resource for Novorossia.
In the same October 2014, Prosvirnin said that the FSB was conducting a pre -investigation of the “satellite and pogrom” for extremism. He did not rule out the excitement "in connection with the activities of the site" of the case under part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism via the Internet), which provides for up to five years of the colony. Which publications attracted the attention of the special services, Prosvirnin did not specify.
The results of the audit, as far as is known, did not receive information.
Meanwhile, next year, the Investigative Committee opened the case under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (excitement of hatred or enmity), the sanction of which at that time was up to four years of the colony. The reason was the publication by the site on January 4, 2015 of the article “For what we are, what we want, what will happen and what will not happen”, dedicated to the goals and objectives of Russian nationalism.
On September 17, 2015, Prosvirnina was a search with the seizure of office equipment and information carriers. A few days later, September 21, the editor of the "satellite and pogrom" was questioned in the TFR in the status of a witness. He refused to testify.
After the search, Prosvirnin said that the initiation of the case "may be due to the fact that they begin to close" Novorossia "and plug their mouths to those who actively supported it." “Now there is no one to squeeze out all the incomprehensible, shutting up the mouths of those who can begin to outraged loudly about this,” the site editor explained.
In January 2016, it became known that for interrogation in the case they called journalist Oleg Kashin , who placed several articles in the "satellite and pogrom".
The further progress of the investigation was not reported.
