In Moscow, Vologda and Kaluga, the security forces seize the campaign materials of the leader of the progress of Alexei Navalny, according to the head of the election campaign, the politician Leonid Volkov. He connects the actions of the authorities with the "campaign subbotnik" appointed on July 8-9.
At about 4 o’clock in the morning, the employees of the Investigative Committee and the police came to the Moscow pre -election headquarters of Navalny, replaced locks, installed bars on the windows and carried out some "investigative actions". "The office is blocked. There, a slight circulation remained, but still unpleasant. We think how to restore the work of the Moscow headquarters," Volkov wrote.
The duty officer Alexander Turovsky, who was at night at the headquarters, was beaten by police officers. A protocol was drawn up on it under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (non -compliance with the legal requirement of a policeman). The volunteer was taken to the Zamoskvoretsky court. From there he was taken to the Sklifosovsky Institute on an ambulance. In Turovsky, a concussion was diagnosed with the brain, he made a lumbar puncture.
Nevertheless, the police insisted on the discharge of Turovsky in order to deliver to the special reception and later to the court. However, doctors categorically refused to do this and left a volunteer in the hospital until the morning.
“Turovsky was left for the night in Sklif, but they put a bunch of police officers to him. Tomorrow at 8 in the morning they want to write out,” wrote Nikolai Lyaskin, the leader of the capital's department of the Progress Party.
Meanwhile, the lawyer of the Corruption Fund Ivan Zhdanov published a photocopy of a report submitted by the police lieutenant M. Glukhovsky in connection with the use of force towards Turovsky. The document says that the volunteer "applied sambo fighting techniques", since he "opposed legal requirements." It is noted in the Turovsky Protocol that he "answered the demand of the police to present a passport with a decisive refusal" and "interfered with investigative actions."
