Putin fired the prosecutor of Buryatia and eight generals

President Vladimir Putin dismissed eight generals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergencies and the Federal Penitentiary Service, as well as the prosecutor of Buryatia and the First Deputy Director of the FSSP. The decree is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

The first deputy head of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Yuri Shinin, the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kemerovo Region, Lieutenant General Yuri Larionov, his deputy major general Vladimir Shepel, the Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tuva, Major General Alexander Lobanov, the first deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Main Major General Andreyev and the head of The Major General Yevgeny Barikaev, control and audit department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Sverdlovsk region, Major General Andrei Zelensky, head of the State Unitary Enterprise in the Rostov Region, Lieutenant General Sergei Smirnov, as well as the prosecutor of Buryatia, Valery Petrov and the first deputy chief bailiff Sergey Sazanov, were also removed from office.

The reasons for dismissal, as usual, are not reported in the text of the Decree.

By the same decree, Putin made 14 appointments in law enforcement agencies. So, Oleg Bazhenov was appointed by the State Secretary - Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations. Major General Alexander Khabarov became deputy head of the FSIN. Prosecutors of the Republic of Tuva, Novgorod Region, Kostroma Region, as well as the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor, were appointed for five years.
