A beaten volunteer from Alexei Navalny's Moscow headquarters remains in the hospital overnight

Volunteer of the Moscow headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Alexander Turovsky, who was beaten during the search, remains at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute for the night. This was reported by Mediazona with reference to the Progress Party's Twitter account.

Turovsky was beaten during a night search. He said that he was "thrown to the floor and hit in the face a couple of times." The police accuse him of disobeying the lawful demands of the police officers. After the arrest, Turovsky was hospitalized, but then the police demanded that he be discharged .

Progress Party activist Nikolai Kasyan believes that on July 7, Turovsky will have a trial under an administrative article on disobedience.

In the hospital, Turovsky had a brain puncture. The police officer who took part in the nighttime invasion of Turovsky's headquarters and the beating of Turovsky wrote in a report that he used "sambo fighting techniques" on the volunteer because he "opposed legal demands." The text of the report is given in the message of "Mediazona" with reference to the twitter of the lawyer of the Anti-Corruption Foundation Ivan Zhdanov.

The police officer explains the essence of disobedience as follows: “I answered the demands of the police officers to present a passport with a decisive refusal, interfered with the conduct of investigative actions.”
