Judge of the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow Elena Averchenko fined 500 rubles of volunteer Alexander Turovsky, beaten by police during the capture of the Moscow headquarters Alexei Navalny. This was reported by the correspondent of "faces" from the courtroom.

Turovsky was found guilty under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (non -compliance with the legal requirement of a policeman).

Turovsky was defended by lawyers Vladimir Voronin, Andrei Skripchenko and Valery Arshinov. The defense filed a request for the termination of the administrative case. Lawyers referred to the application submitted to the Investigative Committee for abuse of authority by security forces. “Until the investigation has been conducted, the consideration of this administrative case is essentially impossible,” the defender said.

In addition, the defense asked to introduce the medical documents of Turovsky to the case and conduct a forensic medical examination. The lawyers also demanded that the witnesses call two more police officers who participated in the detention of Turovsky. The judge rejected all the petitions.

Turovsky case: Beat and fined

Indications in court were given by police lieutenant Mikhail Glukhovsky, who on Thursday wrote a report on the “use of force” to the volunteer. According to the policeman, when he and his colleagues entered the room, Turovsky sat down and began to put his hands under the blanket. The security forces took it as a threat - they thought that there could be weapons. After that, Glukhovsky broke his hand to the volunteer. The policeman denied that he had inflicted blows to Turov. Turovsky himself said that the police broke into the room, shouted something and immediately began to beat him on the head. He only covered his head and did not try to resist. After beating, he was left to lie on the floor for a few more minutes. Then Turovsky was put in a car and only there they asked where his passport was. The volunteer documents lay in the backpack, which remained at the headquarters. The police brought things into the car, and then tried to hack the phone of Turovsky. Then he was brought to the police department, where he spent about five hours.

The lawyer of the Corruption Fund Ivan Zhdanov published a photocopy of a report submitted by Glukhovsky. The document says that the volunteer "applied sambo fighting techniques", since he "opposed legal requirements." In the Code of Administrative Offenses drawn up on the Turovsky Protocol (non -fulfillment of the legal requirement of the policeman), it is noted that he "to present a passport to the police officers with a decisive refusal" and "interfered with investigative actions."
