In Moscow, at least 84 supporters of Alexei Navalny, who participated on Saturday, July 8, in the pre-election "campaign subbotnik", were detained at different stations of the Moscow metro.
The detainees were taken to 31 police departments.
In Bibirevo, Zyablikovo, Kitay-gorod, Levoberezhny, Orekhovo-Borisovo South, Matushkino and Savelki (Zelenograd), Presnensky, Tverskoy, Khamovniki, Khoroshevsky, Yuzhnoye Butovo police departments, protocols were drawn up on the detainees under the fifth part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant in a public event the order in which it is carried out).
In the Tsaritsyno police department, the detainees were accused of a repeated violation at a public event - under the eighth part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which provides for a fine of up to 300,000 rubles, up to 200 hours of compulsory work, or up to 30 days of arrest.
The detainees still remain in the Pechatniki police station. From the police station Yuzhnoye Tushino and Sokolniki, where five people were taken, they began to release the detainees. The rest of the detainees are at large.
