Bryansk police seized 770 propaganda newspapers from Navalny supporters

Traffic police officers stopped the car of Alexei Navalny's headquarters volunteers Alexander Markin and a man named Sergei. The police searched it and confiscated 770 Navalny-2018 newspapers, allegedly to test them for extremism.

Police officers stopped the car under the pretext of checking documents, the driver Sergei was fined for expired insurance. They also tried to interview activists about why they needed newspapers, but the volunteers refused to give explanations, using Article 51 of the Constitution, which gives them the right not to testify against themselves and their loved ones. At the same time, according to Markin, about 15 police officers came to the stopped car.
