On Saturday, the law enforcement agencies of Dagestan were forced to block the entrance to the village of Leninaul on the border of Dagestan and Chechnya due to information about the impending gathering of the local Chechen community. Magomed Daudov came to understand the tense situation that arose between the Avars and the Chechens in the village of Leninaul.
“They arrived in ten cars. By that time, a large crowd of Chechens gathered there several hundred people. Daudov went to people, tried to calm them down. But our Chechens, whom the provocateurs taught, got even more angry ...
... They shouted to Daudov, they say, you came here to our aid and do not stand up for us. Stones flew into Daudov. One of them fell into his leg. In response, his guards and employees of the Russian Guard opened fire into the air. ”
According to eyewitnesses, the conflict began on June 25 on the Feast of Uraza-Bayram between teenagers. “In our village there is a deaf -mute guy, a little blessed,” says Ibrahim, a resident of Leninaul. - That day he walked with a bag and gathered sweets from passers -by. Chechen young guys began to lift him up, the Avars stood up. There was a fight. There were more Chechens, they won up. Then the Avars turned to their own for their help. As a result, the police intervened. 12 people were detained. It seems that the conflict managed to resolve. ”
But on Saturday, July 8, a continuation happened. About the fight that caused disputes, everyone has already forgotten, and a long -standing dispute about the earth came to the fore.
Leninaul is a highland village of the Kazbekovsky district of Dagestan on the border with Chechnya. The population has about ten thousand people. Mostly in Leninaul, Avars and Chechens-Akkintsy or Aukhovtsy live (a separate ethnic group of Vainakhs). Prior to the deportation of Chechens in 1944, the village was part of the Aukhovsky district in Central Asia. After deportation to the liberated lands, the Avars began to relocate. In 1956, Chechen families were allowed to return to the Caucasus, but it is forbidden to settle in the Aukhovsky district abolished by then. In the 90s, the issue of restoring the Aukhovsky district, which still remains unresolved, was actively discussed.
“It turned out that the provocateurs who wanted to transfer the conflict from the household to the ethnic plane took advantage of the situation with the fight,” Ibrahim continues. - We live well with the Chechens nearby. But in our village there are people who are trying to weave politics in any quarrel. Sometimes they succeed. Such incidents are several times a year. - On the Internet, these people began to spread videos and call on the Chechens to collect the gathering, since the Avars supposedly oppress them. Some of them went to Chechnya to ask for protection from Ramzan Kadyrov. These people do not understand that it is impossible to solve any issues between us to incite an artificial growth. ”
