True, the “sun of Russian poetry” in itself, coupled with the “fly-yoke”, does not seem to interfere with anyone. Only those publications that are marked by the “Cain Seal” interfere: the Pushkin Library of the Institute “Open Society” by the Pushkin Library.

The first about what was happening on Facebook was the scientific secretary of the Pushkin Commission of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexei Balakin with reference to the Mezen librarians. According to him, the reason was the "unwritten order from the center", about which people were forbidden to talk under the threat of dismissal.

“As the librarians were clarified, all of them were published by the in -agent, the Soros Foundation, and therefore subject to ... Considerate what,” Balakin writes. - It is clear that Soros never published them, and at the turn of the century, the Institute of Open Society purchased the best books of the best publishers and sent them to libraries, putting a stamp on the title sheets. Now all books with similar stamps were ordered to be removed from readership, and to remove bibliographic cards on them from a file cabinet. ”

In the late 90s, the Soros Foundation really supported the program to complete Russian libraries. The fact of filling with the best editions of multi -gaming literature 3.5 thousand book storages was spent $ 100 million. Basically, a classic was purchased, which was clearly in the libraries of the libraries in the world of the country, as well as scientific literature, dictionaries, reference books - all the best that was published. In the regional centers, where bookstores had long been closed as unprofitable, they would not have been seen at all. The project was called upon to return humanitarian knowledge to the Russians and covered a wide network of provincial libraries. Its name is symbolic: Pushkin’s openness, balance of national and European, civilization, education. In 2015, the Prosecutor General’s Prosecutor General’s prosecutor’s office as “the threat to the basics of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation and the security of the state”. The Open Society Foundation was recognized as an undesirable organization.

And then they took up the books.

Already in 2015, the school libraries of the Sverdlovsk region were removed by the British historians John Kigan and Antoni Bivor, issued with the support of the British Book Fund. At the beginning of 2016, they burned in Vorkut (then, however, they assured that there were no) 53 textbooks published with the support of Soros, several hundred were simply seized.

Officials, explaining their initiatives, accused the authors of the withdrawn textbooks of abused and bad influence on the younger generation. And what was Pushkin what was guilty of? “Balm -toy dandelion, enemy of labor” - now to knock out for such lines now no wonder, ”they are ironic in social networks.

Librarians are not up to irony.

“When I found out about this seizure, I was in shock and bewilderment, such books are good, a lot of reference literature. At the moment, in our rural library, all these books are removed from the shelves, put into a completely different room and covered with dark dense fabric - obviously, to a special order. I don't understand what they want to achieve this? These books were in demand by the reader. There are many questions, and there are no answers, ”the interlocutor of“ New ”until mid -May worked in the Kargopol library. Like all libraries who, for two days that the scandal lasted, agreed to talk with the press, she asks not to publish her name. The installation of silence is given under the threat of dismissal. Of course, orally. Like the order itself on the seizure of literature. At the same time, regional officials from culture and education itself deny the presence of such an order.

According to Alexei Balakin, in addition to an oral instruction, a kind of black list of books that must be found and neutralized was sent to the village in addition.

Alexey ironically calls this special operation Index Librorum Prohibitorum - a list of books prohibited by the Catholic Church.

Meanwhile, books were prohibited not only by Catholics. The symbol of the nascent fascism was the “action against the Negerman spirit”, conducted by German students in 1933. They were preceded by the seizure of unwanted literature from libraries and bookstores. We seized on the list. Now it is known for certain that books with “non -Khorosha” by the seal were sent “under the arrest” in the Kargopol, Mezensky, Verkhnetomsky districts of the Arkhangelsk region. In addition, as the source of Novaya, in the library of the Northern State Medical University, such a “action” reported last year in the library of the Northern State Medical University.

“In our library, the regiments were noticeably empty, many good books were removed from them, I crawled on the Internet-there was mainly about textbooks, but why clean up all in a row? Just as in the 90s, they cannot boast of an excess of funds for procurement or rich state subsidies for the acquisition of funds.
